2009 Dynomites Start Rehearsals

Dynomites Rehears - Ashley(January 4, 2009) The revitalized and rejuvenated Dynomites dance team began official preparations for the upcoming season of Rock River Raptors football.

New Dynomite Ashley (pictured to the left) helped jump start the first rehearsal.

Under the direction of Tricia Keating of Pro Dancers Edge, the Dynomites began meetings and rehearsals this week.

To chronicle the evolution of the 2009 dance team, Pro Dancers Edge will present an on-line journal with articles and photographs of the Dynomites throughout the preseason, appearances and game day performances. The journal will also include interviews with Ms. Keating, interviews and profiles of the individual Dynomites, news and notes on special events featuring the Dynomites, and much more!

"One of my goals for the 2009 Dynomites was to shake things up a little bit and bring an exciting, talented, attractive group of ladies to entertain at the Raptor's football games," says Tricia Keating.

"I'm very pleased with the way things are shaping up after our first rehearsal," adds Tricia. "The girls really compliment each other in the way they dance and it's going to be exciting bringing out their potential."Dynomites Rehearsal - Danyel

While all of the girls are new to the Dynomites, they bring a variety of dance experience to the team.

Danyel (pictured to the right) has danced with the Luvabulls for the Chicago Bulls, she was a member of the Chicago Rush's Adrenaline Rush dance team, she was a member of the inaugural Slaughter Girls dance team, and she got her start dancing for Tricia as a member of the Kane County Lady Eagles.

"I am very excited to be dancing under the direction of Tricia Keating again," says Danyel. "Tricia has made a business out of producing polished and well-rounded professional dance teams. I think it says a lot about a director when you walk away from a season learning more than just choreography. I think what makes dancing for Tricia so special is that she really encourages and prepares you to go to that next level. I can't wait for Rockford to meet their 2009 Dynomites!"
